Most adults who want to start boxing fall into one of three groups. They want to get fitter. They want to learn a real skill. Or they want a structured routine that keeps them disciplined. The problem is most boxing gyms focus on fighters. Beginners often feel lost, rushed or ignored. On top of that, evenings are the most chaotic time for any adult with work or family responsibilities.
My coaching solves these problems. I run early morning private boxing sessions that work around real life. This article explains my coaching hours, prices, what you learn and how beginners progress fast.
WHY I COACH IN THE EARLY MORNING
Adults train best when life is quiet. Early morning is calm and predictable. You can focus without stress or interruption. You get your training done before the day begins. Most of my clients tell me that training at 5.30am or 6am becomes the strongest habit they have in their week.
My private coaching hours are simple. Weekday mornings only, between 5.30am and 8am. This fits around my youth engagement work and family commitments. It also suits adults who want a structured routine without the chaos of evening sessions.
PRICES
The prices are straightforward, so there is no confusion.
• £40 per session
• £160 for a block of five sessions
• £60 for a 2 to 1 session
• £240 for a block of five 2 to 1 sessions
Most beginners choose the block option. It sets the rhythm, gives you a clear plan and saves money. If you train with a friend, you can split the cost. Most pairs pay £30 each for a 2 to 1 session.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Your training starts with the fundamentals. When these are built properly, everything else becomes easier. You will cover:
• Foot positioning
• Guard structure
• Basic defence
• Jab mechanics
• Straight right mechanics
• Light movement patterns
• Pad work with timing and accuracy
• Conditioning drills that build fitness fast
This is not fitness boxing. This is real technique taught by a former national ranked amateur and professional boxer. I trained at the English Institute of Sport with Team GB athletes and studied high-level coaching systems. You get the benefit of that experience without being pushed towards sparring or competition.
WHO THIS COACHING IS FOR
My sessions are suitable for absolute beginners, adults returning after a break and anyone who wants clean technique without a crowded class environment. You do not need experience. You do not need to be fit. You do not need confidence. You just need to turn up.
Common goals include:
• Improved overall fitness
• Weight loss
• Better confidence
• Technical knowledge
• Stress relief
• A disciplined morning routine
• Learning a skill without judgement
PLACE
Sessions are held in my private training space in South Ockendon. It is quiet, focused and built for technical coaching. There is no crowd and no distractions. You get complete attention on your movement, your technique and your progress.
HOW FAST YOU WILL IMPROVE
Most adults feel improvements within two to three sessions. The footwork becomes more stable. The punches feel cleaner. The breathing settles. The confidence grows. After five sessions, you will have a full foundation that most public classes never teach.
Many clients also improve faster by using the guides in my Digital Hub. They include heavy bag sessions, conditioning plans and home training structures that match the way I coach.
DIGITAL HUB SUPPORT
If you want structure between your private sessions, you can use the programmes in the Digital Hub. These include:
• Gas Tank Conditioning Guide
• Strength and Conditioning starter programs
These guides help you progress faster at home and build a full routine.
HOW TO BOOK
If you want to start, you can book directly through the 1 to 1 Boxing Coaching page. If you prefer, you can text me on 07950 277601 and tell me which mornings suit you between 5.30am and 8am. I will confirm your slot and set up your first session.
WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE THIS STYLE OF COACHING
Most adults tell me the same thing after their first session. They had been thinking about it for months but did not know where to start. Once they train for the first time, they realise how achievable it is. The footwork makes sense. The punches feel real. They leave the session feeling sharper, calmer and more focused.
Early morning boxing becomes their anchor. The discipline carries into the rest of the day.
If you want to learn boxing properly and build strong fitness before the day begins, private early morning coaching is the most consistent and effective option. You will get structured coaching, real technique and a clear plan. You can start with one session or commit to a block. Either way, you will make progress fast.
